you need to pull some codes or data!!

I am working through a similar problem on an XJ6 with same engine, there are specific areas which have known vacuum leaks which can cause rough idle, as well as duff plugs, coils etc?

I hope it ...

Re: JAG XJ6 wont run on petrol

Sorry Rossko my post is confusing!
The ECU has the big sticker on front with Zavoli Alisei N but no sticker on side with date or ver no?
It has a date stamp on back of alloy case which ties up with the first MOT showing LPG 2008.

I have a BIGAS sequential ECU 6 cyl in a box date stamp is Feb 2005 2 ...

Thanks rossko, I have ordered a return kit from Tinley Tech, looking at Pic think there is a valve of some sort or whether its the solenoid.
Will look when it turns up and if needed use your method and drill.

JAG XJ6 wont run on petrol

Hi just bought a 2003 x350 XJ6 with LPG. seems install was done 2008 from old MOT's and has done 140K
Firstly the Zavoli install looks poorly done, but main problem is it struggles to start on petrol with rough idle, and will only idle after engine is warm say 1/3rd on temp gauge.
Runs reasonably ...

Jag V8 RISN Running Lumpy

Hi just returned to LPG cars after a few years out. Bought an 4.0l S TYPE Jag with Romano RISN conversion. It felt a bit gutless so decided to check/replace Spark plugs. The existing plugs were Platinums and gapped at 1.3mm? checked on web and fitted denso iridiums and gapped to 0.8mm.
It seemed ...

Re: Saab 9-3 2.0t (2007)

Hi, That Saab engine looks like 9-5 B205 engine?? I have converted my 9-3 2003 2.0t, yes it is the Z20NET or B207 as Saab call it; have only done 10K since conversion but it is quite easy and haven't used flashlube? Don't know if I will regret it but at moment looks OK. The older Saab turbo's were ...

Re: Help Required Please ???

Hi, as some one like yourself who wanted to give a diy install serious consideration; I can only agree with Tubbs. if you know your way around the engine and bodywork of a car and listen to what advice is available, then a diy LPG install should be not too difficult.
I used the cheap and cheerful ...
