Rover's MEMS system doesn't need injector emulators (at least not in it's multipoint form) - you just have to cut the 12v supply to the injectors. I'm assuming that the single point MEMS system on the 114 will work in the same way.

Autogas 2000 in Thirsk would be worth a call.

A letter I received from Countrywide told me that HMR&C had confirmed that it had been extended by 2 years so we have another 5 years grace.

My cars are all pre-2001 and in good condition. I should be OK for some time yet!

If you buy bulk domestic LPG then there could be significant savings to be had.

My Rover 827 has the tank in the wheel well but I use a space saver tyre to keep boot space sensible. I reckon that's the best overall comprise, maintaining flexibility (I can always take the space saver out if I need that last little bit of space).

A photo of the broken part would be useful.

What sort of MPG figures are you getting on petrol and LPG?

That's the problem, isn't it - there will always be cowboys giving the decent professionals and competent DIYers a bad name.

Unfortunately, many people will rely upon membership of a trade body as a sign of quality (after all, what else do they have to go on?).

As rossko says the LPGA approved installer is putting his name to an install that he hasn't done so he must be careful on what he does or doesn't advise on.
My XJ40 has a professionally installed LPG kit on it (already fitted when I bought it) - certified etc and the installer was clearly happy ...

I've no idea about the KV6 - but this is a Honda C27 engine with single wire O2 sensors.
