It's a BRC sequent 24. I'm in nottingham - don't mind travelling a bit though if necessary
I'd rather get someone else to do it in case it needs new fittings/pipes then they will have some and it would be done straight away and if it needs tweaking on the laptop.

I have an LPG kit on my car and would like it transferring to another car I have bought. Same engine, Same ECU etc.
I know I could do this myself/get a mechanic to do it but I need an LPGA certificate for insurance so i'd only have to take it to someone that could issue one of those anyway ...

Bit of a follow up to this as I hate it when threads don't have a conclusion!

I had the injectors ultrasonically cleaned and tested and they were all ok. all had the same resistance too which is good.
Eventually got round to replacing the diaphragm.

Yes gas is still coming out. From the end that connects to the inlet manifold - this is a Y piece - one goes to the vap and the other goes to the pressure sensor thing.

Small update:
I took the "new" vapouriser apart as a practice before i tackled mine. several of the screws snapped off in the process. I found that the "new" diaphragm was not split and it was relatively clean in there.

Worried of snapping screws on my unit that I use i squirted WD40 on them ...

Yup, you did it was fairly cheap though so no big loss.
Will order replacement diaphragm kit this week.

I have just bought a second hand unit (BRC Genius) which I hoped would tide me over until I could afford to sort it out properly with a new one.
My replacement second hand unit is a 1200mbar... my old one is a 1500 mbar, does this mean I can not swap them over? also the sensor plug is different but ...

OK I take it they will have different model numbers then?
Sounds like it would be best to try and repair mine though, I've had a google and cant find a overhaul kit anywhere - including the BRC site. Will try sending them an email.

my car has a 172 engine in with LPG, bear in mind OE spark plugs are platinum and a lot of the clio boys swear by using the OE plugs in them which will be no good with LPG.
You can of course use different plugs, i've used alsorts from £1 NGK copper ones to £11.50 denso iridiums

I have a BRC sequent multipoint injection system.

I have a 4cyl car currently pushing around 170bhp/155lbft

I intend to turbo my car to get around 230bhp/220lbft.

I would (obviously!) like to keep running my car on LPG.

Would the kit function in the same way? I.e will the same injectors ...

My local BP has dropped about 6p but my local shell has gone up by 7p and is now more expensive than the bp for the first time ever (the BP is usually 6p more expensive than the shell - i assume this is because it is close to the M1)
Paying 72.9 @ BP atm.

To follow up on this (cos i hate it when threads dont have a solution!):
The not changing over was caused by a faulty relay - replaced this and hey presto it was switching over nicely.
I then drove around and when lpg had ran out tried again to swap the filter in the front solenoid. This time no gas ...

it keeps fluctuating between 1 and 2 dots, so around 20l i guess.

Unfortunately I cant run the car until the tank is empty because it wont switch over to gas, orange light stays on forever and on the rare occasion that it tries to go on gas no fuel gets delivered and it switches back to petrol.
