So MFG have got back, they blame their supplier - take it or leave it (I will leave it at 1.30 a litre as it's cheaper to run petrol)
Dear Russell
Regrettably our LPG supplier unilaterally decided to more than treble the supply premium for the supply of LPG on a take or leave it basis. Our pump ...

Re: Are there enough merits for a new LPG conversion in 2024?
Bloody hell, I shan't be going to Blackpool in the near future. Or if I do I'll fill up on the way, 82.9 in Preston, 79.9 in Burnley or 75.0 just off the M61 at Pendlebury. I suppose it depends on what sort of journeys you do. If you only ever drive around your local area, then it isn't worth it ...

Re: Morrisons price increase
Morrisons is the only one near me (Blackpool) - There is a couple in Preston if I am passing - Petrol is now cheaper than LPG to run. So it's pretty much the end of LPG for me. Morrisons are a complete rip off. They are using their monopoly to let them increase the price. It's cheaper to fill up on ...

Re: Are there enough merits for a new LPG conversion in 2024?
Quick answer no - Certainly where I live. Petrol is 132.7 and LPG 129.9 at Morrisons, the only filling station in Blackpool. More expensive to run on LPG at current prices.

Re: Morrisons price increase
Yep, no point in using it at that price. I can get Petrol at 132.7 or lpg at 99 - Once you work out the difference in economy between lpg and petrol, the price difference is tiny per fill up. I wonder if any other stations will pop up. I have used LPG since 1999. Back then to fill with LPG, often ...

LPG availability
I currently have a Sandero Bifuel - I have run LPG cars for many years, and saved thousands over the years. There is a problem now with the availability of LPG. It's getting harder to find, and the stations with LPG are often out of gas or broken. Back in the 90's it tended to be specialist sites ...
