I have just rebuilt mine, and I can say it works alot better. Like you I had a fairly dodgy idle on LPG.

If you have changed plugs on a Ford V6 before you may just be willing to go for the NGK LPG plugs! It started hunting before the solenoid was disturbed. Although the copper pipe has been off many times since the vaporiser is bolted onto the front subframe which has been disturbed for a number of jobs (gearbox, suspension etc.).

If it is anything like my V6 Mondeo, your wiring to the injectors may have failed. To give you an idea, only 2 of the 6 injector plugs are still original (the rest started breaking internally and were replaced).

where is your misfire? across the rev range or at certain revs? could also be your coil pack or HT leads.

I am sure it can be fixed. It would have to be a total disaster for it not to be fixable. If the system has ever run properly then it can be fixed , you just need the right person to do it or take a step back, learn a bit about the systems and then fix it yourself.

The kit I believe is not a bad bit of kit. It is the installation of it that is this car's downfall.

I would say not to get too hung up on what kit you go for but instead how well it has been installed. As long as it is a half decent kit you will be fine.

This botched Landi Renzo system on the Mondeo is finally working right. But it is not all roses (quite literally!).

Same system as you on a 2.0 Mondeo. Did that for over 100k like that until I changed the fuel pump the second time around for a known working replacement.

On the plus side, it made a great immobiliser for the car for that time .
