Oh it's worthwhile alright. My Ford Scorpio has done 250,000 miles on gas. The cash I've saved has:

1. Paid for the conversion.
2. Paid for the Scorpio, and
3. Paid for the Lexus.

I'm more than happy, I just wondered if there was any point in applying for a reduction in vehicle tax ...

Someone more knowledgable will be along soon I'm sure but I heard that the BRC injectors are not as robust as the Prins.

With the Government being totally commited to green issues I believe you will get a whole £15 off.

Been back to my installer this morning and it was indeed running a bit lean, most probably due to the main intake trunking being left loose.

Everything tweaked so hopefully no more codes.

Would it be the code/s for running lean on left and/or right bank by any chance?

Keep getting that on my S Type.

I'm averaging 22mpg on my 3.0L Jag. Like the poster above, as its cheaper to fill I like to do some "spirited" driving where I can.

Think we may have found whats been causing it, or at least a contributing factor, the intake trunking to the throttle body was not tightened up.

Was at my Jagtech yesterday getting a washer bottle replaced and when they lowered the car after to refill the washer bottle he noticed the trunking loose ...

I've got the 3.0L fitted with a Prins VSI system.

Like I say its not causing any problems yet, its just annoying but there must be a reason for it.

A bedding in period wasn't offered to me no.

After the first sign of these codes and chat to the installer I decided to spend a period of time monitoring them so I had some sustained activity to see him about, rather than just the one off.

Thought I would ask here in case it was indicative of ...
