Car is a 3.2 V6 Omega .. Slightly different technology to a BMW X5. I've got a mixer system working on a V8 Range Rover but I wouldn't recommend putting one of those and expecting it to work. The system has to be suited to the car and what will work well on one, won't on another.

I have had a BRC Sequent system fitted for 2 years ... and not a hickup yet (touch wood). Its been checked annually and the only work needed has been the lpg filter change.

Car is a 3.2 V6 Omega .. and I'm very very pleased with it...

Which station is it? If you entered the note you should be able to delete it, I'll have a look and see why.


It's the Calor Swindon one ... When I click it I get 4 options: Edit Station, Change price, add note, delete.

if I click "edit station" I can change location and name :)

How do you edit a station ... ?? Misspelt the name and I want to fix it ... only option I get when I click "edit station" is to rename the location ??? Also, when I try and edit a note all it does is add another note !!!

They say the RFD plus " a small wholesale rise" = 2 p/litre not including VAT.
I thought the RFD was max of 1p/litre this budget ??

Seems to me they are adding quite a LARGE wholesale rise .... :(

There are several different sources, including (the worst) TomTom GPS . but they all seem to have errors of one sort or another... I have been sent to garages that have never sold LPG, to building sites that no garage has ever existed on, to places that the price is so wrong it's almost criminal ...

Fuel duty will rise by "1p in real terms" in other words inflation + 1p .. VAT will then be payable on top as well .. so expect 3p rise in fuel duty.

and we all pay fuel duty even on LPG

In discussions with folks who have other systems to mine .. it appears many of them can set their systems to start on gas ... can this be done with mine . ?? if so .. HOW ?? :)

LPG is readily available ... most "hypermarkets" seem to sell it IME .. certainly the POI from here ..

Correctish .. .. tanks only fill to 80% for safety so you should get 36 ltrs in .... IF the filler set up is perfect .. and they often are not ... :)

I'm going to guess now .... that the OP's spare wheel is secured in a vertical plane by a bolt through to a bracket on the inner wing ... and he wishes to know if a torodial tank can be secured to that fitting .....

IMHO .... NO ... nowhere near secure enough, and the chances of alignment are ...
