As stated above, positive pressure from the turbo most likely wouldn't be created just on cruise.

Yeah the bottom one is much longer, the top one wouldn't wind that far out.
Both are the same head, 8mm.

Is there a way I can check, like if I wind one all the way in should it eg. not have any effect on idle?

Here is a picture. the top screw is labeled bypass and bottom is idle. so is that correct or wrong? I'd be suprised the casting on the converter is wrong. But everyone seems to indicate the ...

Thanks all, so which screw is which.. as the omvl 90/e manual I found stated that the smaller screw is idle and the larger is the mixture adjustment. But the writing on the side of my converter would state the opposite.

Also sure these are simple carb designs but I would have thought as the engine ...

Hello, I am trying to tune an omvl r90/e converter.

It has 2x brass screws on it, one has a label 'idle' and the other 'by-pass'.

All the doco i read says it should say idle and sensitivity and that idle and by-pass are much of the same thing. So bit confused.

Well yeah I am only trying for better economy.. I'll permanently mount my wideband 02 meter so mixtures/lambda can always be kept in check. At the moment the sensor is just in the tailpipe but i'll weld a bung in up closer to the manifold so it should be more accurate.

Thanks for the reply.. I can tune the idle mixture back to stoich with the adjustment on the converter. I think the problem there was that last time I adjusted the idle mixture was when it was running in its intermitent lean problem.
