Parkers online say 21 mpg for the auto but I can't find any mention of the manual transmission figures.

vtec, did you ever do this conversion. The Impreza on the scoobypedia site was mine that I converted. I sold it due to needing a pickup for building a house.

I had very few problems at 1.4 bar boost and around 350hp on petrol, less on gas.

The kit is the BiGas from Tinleytech.

Just looking at buying a V6 Shogun as we speak. Is yours the V6 Shogun sport as that is what I am looking at getting.

I usually install the BiGas kit and would imagine that this car is a Sequential injection system.

Any pics of your install and pitfalls and problems found would be great.

Long time since I have been here and the Subaru is now sold. I still have the BMW running LPG and that has been nothing but trouble free motoring for the last 2 years.

I have a Navara D40 2.5D which is now surplus to requirements, although I still need a 4 x 4.

Yes, you need to buy the software and lead that allow you to hook up a laptop etc.

You can then adjust the injection parameters to allow the system to inject the correct amount.

Be careful of the ebay leads. Buy from Tinleytech.co.uk or one of the advertisers on here.

All sorted and running smooth again.

Tinleytech posted out the plunger foc and I fitted it today.

I'm back up to full power and boost with the inj timings above 4ms of the gas.

Last thing, I can't believe how simple the injector components are.

Just done exactly what you have said above. First one bank and then the other. I seem to have found the problem.

Ok, TinleyTech are supplying me with some O rings that act as the bump stops and these are probably what are causing the problem for me. I will post some pics when the injectors are stripped.

They can also supply a refurb kit at around £45 + VAT.

One more though. Are the injector sizes purely governed by the silver outlet nozzle? Mine are 3.3mm and I could probably do with 3mm or even 2.5mm.

Can I replace these, or even fill these in and redrill. I used to solder up my carb jets and then redrill so should be ok doing this.

I think my injectors are in need of a refurb. I am willing to strip them and can get seals from a local company but don't know if this will wreck the calibration.

So has anyone ever stripped these injectors and replaced worn seals etc?

According to Tinleytech, the system has probably bedded in and this is to be expected. So, I have lowered the pressure to 1.1 bar and it runs fine with the injectors nearer the 4ms mark.

This in itself presents a problem to running any boost above 1.1 bar. My car can run upto 1.5 bar, so I have set ...

I have played with the manual carb settings and the inj times will not go lower than 3.6 on the LPG injectors. From what I know anything below 4.0ms is a problem.

I am having problems with the BiGas system I have on the scoob. It is running rich when idling and on low load. Full load and the mid ranges are fine and AFR's are reporting ok.

The injectors are indeed the fat ones!!

The vapourisor is balanced before it hits the filters which were clean when cut open and replaced.

I'm thinking injectors here too.

The thermostat looks to be operating ok as the temp is bang on 87c when upto temp. I have tried the cardboard blocking the rad but this does little as the car does get upto temp anyway.

The tune of the car should be ok as I did it myself and it is plenty rich when out of closed loop ...
