Anyway so i took on board what you advised and I reversed the settings back to how they originally were just to rule that out,+ i didnt spot anything else amiss or changed there, so like you mentioned and i thought possibly too it couldnt have been just down to the switchover temperature change and ...

Thanks Simon yeah ill try and check tommorow and report back, ill check for any obvious solenoid connection s and take a look at my settings again, its not easy at mo tho cos my laptop batterys worn out like they do do + no i didnt touch any of the other settings on it bar those two.

Hiya Simon thanks for the reply, nothing in those slightly modified settings of yours looks out of sync?
The symptoms are fairly frequently now, whilst running lpg seemingly randomly ill hear the solenoid ping in the boot to switch back to petrol, then usually shortly after it'll ping back onto gas ...

Switching in/out of Lpg
Recently my cars started switching in and out of lpg, seemingly randomly, i can hear the solenoid clicking in and out in the boot.
I think its coincided with me changing my mapped switchover settings down to 25C, which i know is low, and a 2 second switchover delay, now changed to 3 but still doing ...

Hey some v interesting ideas there, the last setup sounds good, effectively using a gas bottle as a removable additional tank (like u say how safe + legal that is ive no idea / how u could make it that way but for safe monitorable use why not).

Thanks v much for your as always exceptional reply, yes i completely agree filling from bottles would increase the availability of fuel 10-fold, it seems like bottles can be exchanged all over the place, tho they do seem heavier than i thought, and prices do seem to vary quite a bit depending on ...

Gas bottles + lpg transfer pumps?
Hi everyone I'm looking at trying to increase the longevity of running lpg at the moment and have heard/considered re-fuelling from gas bottles as well as from the available local filling stations but dont know much about + the feasibilty of doing this.

Cheers for the replies i was going to get round to fitting a valve saver but was temporarily seeing how it went but ve obviously created the wear in the interim setting it up myself but points well taken.

Interesting, I only got half a tank in from empty but yeah it could be various things including my user error so I'll monitor it but it was defo still 58ppl id expected it to have gone up recently.
