Re: Nevo switch connector type?

Cheers, close but no Cigar.

Did eventually find it on the RS site after much faffing about.
Well, I think I've found it, see when the parts come in if I've got it right.

Nevo switch connector type?

KME Nevo, wires at the changeover switch/gauge have vibrated themselves off the female connector to the loom.
Anyone have a clue what type of connector it is, I don't want to solder direct to the switch pins, that's the road of no return.

Re: Why so many stations running out of Gas

Ah, didn't see the interactive map, cheers for that.
Not that it's been a great help, threw up a place I 'discovered' this afternoon, after driving past it for years, as having supplies, they didn't about 2 pm, phoned another in Croydon, no LPG.

Re: Why so many stations running out of Gas

Anyone know of any near Greater London, got bored phoning around the Shell and BP stations, one blokey gave a light hearted giggle at my inquiry if they had any LPG.
Asking for the Moon on a stick, clearly.

This isn't good I'll have to drive more gently, which really isn't my way.

Re: Nevo Pro BMW E39 killing injectors.

If I turn the LPG system off from switch, then it's off/inactive.

Apparently the E39 will go into batch fire mode, if there are problems with the inlet cam sensor signal.
I did have a problem with the cam sensor and replaced it.
Shouldn't affect this though if the sensor signal's good enough to run ...

Nevo Pro BMW E39 killing injectors.

Started to Kill petrol injector signal only when Nevo is active, on petrol Nevo off, no problems.
Leave it ticking over on petrol waiting for changeover conditions it will kill one of the injectors, engine runs rough and there's no injector signal in the Nevo software, that'll log the fault though ...

Re: 8 pot kit, 6 pot lump

OK cheers chaps.
Should have enough info to get the hardware installed now, just need to hunt out the ECU pinouts to connect the ODB bit of it.

Re: 8 pot kit, 6 pot lump

Thanks for the answers.
It's Nevo PRO/ODB.
Should be the last question now.
There's a picture of the temp sensor pointing at the reducer in the Schematic, unfortunately is doesn't show the nut leaving the reducer :)

Re: 8 pot kit, 6 pot lump

Yes. I used them a few times. Never really got on with them. The idea was very good in principle. But in practice the petrol side of the car went a little squiffy. I led myself to conclude it was down to the injector being slightly spaced up from its seat. Everything sealed up ok. Just didn't run ...

Re: 8 pot kit, 6 pot lump

Righty ho, cheers for the answers, finding out how the injectors work makes me feel better.
Lighten my wallet to the tune of £500 ish notes on the LPG shop then, there's nothing of my old LPG kits that's of any use, apart from the tanks, still loath to bin it though.
LPGC I don't care about re ...

8 pot kit, 6 pot lump

Looking into converting my BMW E39 525.
Only way to make a kit pay for itself is to keep swapping it from car to car.
Did that a few times before with my old Tec97/Omvl kit and BRC kit, that I still have.
If the BMW breaks in an expensive way then I might go for a 540, 8 pot or Saab Aero 2.3 4 pot ...
