Re: lean code bank 1

Hi Simon No I haven't sorted it, I have swapped injectors over and fault stays on same bank, but I do get an occasional p0116 ect circuit fault which brings on the coolant fan, suspect it may be related. Car runs faultless other than cel on. Eta once petrol drivers strike over will run on petrol for...

Re: lean code bank 1

Done all that, my point was a lean code should only pop up on large positive short or ltft, the freeze frame data shows neither

Eta its coming in continuously, I will start making a note of the next freeze frame as a comparison

Software was version 7.53 is there a better version available now?

Re: reducer temp. sensor spec

Hi Simon Correct the gas temp sensor was at fault. What I have done is left the gas sensor in as a blank with the wires snipped off , new brc sensor with plug connector inserted into reducer and wired into reducer and gas sensor wiring from the king ecu and selected 4.7k ohm in software as the one t...

Re: reducer temp. sensor spec

Fitted new sensor and selected 10k ohm in the software unfortunately forgot about the gas temp sensor being 4.7k ohm . So question is to get by can I just link in the wires for the gas sensor to the reducer sensor so both show same temp without causing issues? I think it should be ok. Still running ...

Re: reducer temp. sensor spec

Hi all Thanks for the info. Ltft have been running to -20+ for a couple of weeks now and I finally realised the temp. Probe was modulating between 10 - 60 degrees. I think on the minute or so I scanned the software I have ordered a new 10k. Ohm probe which should be able to be set up in the king aeb...

reducer temp. sensor spec

hi guys

I've managed to track down my rich running condition to a goosed temp sensor on my reducer but don't know what the spec is.

the reducer appears to be an ultragas t3 , does anyone know the spec I should get or know where I can get a suitable replacement sensor.

thanks in advance

Re: Q on magic jet injectors

Ok will do , that may have been an issue in the uk as it could be a bit lumpy on cold days when it just went onto gas .
Not a problem out here with higher ambient temps and must admit it runs smoother on change over , plus longer runs out here than town driving in uk which helps I think.

Re: Q on magic jet injectors

Cheers Simon I'll persevere with them and a drop of superglue to keep them in place. Had one or two causing issues of rich running but once cleaned and reassembled they're ok for another 2 or 3000 miles. I have them - old type -without any nozzles in and quite happy with them other than this o ring ...

Q on magic jet injectors

I have these fitted and have had a few problems with deterioration of the o ring that sits right on the end of the adjustment barrel that the spring sits in. Q is can I just remove these and bin them and rely on the spring stopping them hitting metal to metal as the shuttle does its thing? There is ...

Re: L322 range rover 4.4v8 lpg range

Works out about 23-28 mpg equivalent petrol cost.

Try running on petrol only and you'll appreciate the difference.
