It is a failing of UKLPG that they have not yet managed to achieve this regulation. Thankfully insurers are really clamping down on DIY installations.... since when were people allowed to DIY their MOT?? So why should the DIY cheapskates get away with risking other road users just because they wish to save a few ££.

LPG is dying in the UK. My regular filling station man says his LPG sales are falling, and outlets are closing all the time.
Why do you want to kill it off by taking half the LPG cars off the road?

Or is that because he is charging too much? It is the opposite in this area. I've mentioned it to three of my local 7 retailers and all of them say that LPG sales are increasing. They love it too, 2 of the 3 I asked are supplied by Flogas. The local Flogas depot is only open office hours and is currently charging 64p a litre, the filling stations supplied by them are matching the prices of the local Shell stations at 72.9 p per litre. Even if Flogas are charging them the same 64p as they charge a punter, which I very much doubt, then they are making 9p on each litre they sell. Far more profit than they make on petrol or diesel.
