Attached is a link to a pic of my Prins gas ecu, I think there's a 3 pin diagnostics connector in the engine compartment.

Can I access any diagnosits. I don't think there's anything wrong, just curious what can be accessed, adjusted, fault codes etc.

It's used in conjunction with a rover MEMS 1.9 petrol ECU on a 1800 Rover K series non vvc engine, for which there is a OBD2 connector that I have an app and interface cable to access diagnostics, fault codes etc

As far as I know you need the Prins software, a computer running win98, with a serial port (or if you are a computer person, get it to pretend to be Win98), and a link lead which is about £30 from Poland. I bought an old cheap win98 laptop just to mess with it = £40 on Ebay. Not sure how well it will work yet as it is too bloody cold!
Simon (LPGC) might be your best bet for info and perhaps software.

Sounds good I've got an old laptop or two spare I can use. And, if I ever do mess things up I've a couple of spare gas ecus that work too. Any chance of a link to the Polish connection please.

Brass Monkeys out there!

This is a USB one - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-USB-PRINS ... 2026589085
Not sure whether mine is USB or serial, come to think of it - I haven't seen it in a while!
