Well I couldn't resist at the price of fuel, petrol that is :wink:

I run a 4 litre Cherokee as a Greenlaner, just done conversion myself off of another

all well and has been certified, the system is a BRC Just Single Point system

In general pretty pleased, definately uses more gas than petrol though but along the same lines its still far cheaper to run :D

The only issue I seem to have is when on tickover on gas it appears to run a bit lumpy, almost sounds like its missing but its as sweet as a nut on petrol, any ideas?????

It had a new vapouriser fitted when I did the conversion as a water union on the old one was leaking, was originally set up by the guy who certified it and it was fine until I'd done afew hundred miles

Can you buy a set up meter or soemthing to aid the setting of the mixture what isn't a fortune???

thanks for the quick response, do you have any ideas where I could get one from that gives me the readings I require, the Cherokee is OBII compliant so shouldn't be an issue as long as I can get the right on

Mine always tended to run a bit lumpy at idle!

Despite much fiddling I came to the conclusion that due to a combination of single point LPG system and long inlet manifold that no1 and no6 cylinders struggle to get enough mixture at idle, Big engines have a low flow rate at idle as very large tract is needed to cope with demand at high revs.
