Hi

I live in Chesterfield but work in Nottingham.

There are only 2 LPG filling stations that I know of in Nottingham, a Shell and a BP.
They have been gradually increasing in price, does anybody know of any alternative suppliers of autogas in either Nottingham or Chesterfield.

Thanks

I tried DC gas in chesterfield yesterday and was horrified at their prices. When they told me the price I was that shocked I laughed out loud. They wanted 79p/l I then tried a place in Dronfield who wanted 80p/l. I was checking alternatives and had assumed that maybe a small independant on an industrial estate with restricted opening hours may be cheaper than a main petrol station forecourt. How wrong can I be. I filled up this morning on the way to work at Total on prince of wales rd Sheffield for 70.9p/l. Morrisons at Catcliffe is 72.9p/l. Since I live in Dronfield and work in Sheffield I am glad I have more options than these 2 overpriced outlets.

To the OP I hope they have found somewhere else to fill up maybe Nottingham way as it seems Chesterfield area is expensive.

Chesterfield Area
To my knowledge there is only one in our area.
Dave Croft Motor Services
Campbell Drive,
Barrow Hill,
Chesterfield,
S43 2PN
Tel: 01246 - 472521

Really good value @ 69p per litre (Aug 2012).
They fill all refillable bottles as long as filler adapter or filler point is attached.
