P38 Range Rover, 4.0 litre goes for anywhere between 170 and 230 miles to 66 litres of LPG depending on type of journey, load and how much welly I give it.

My old Saab was a 2.0 litre non-turbo and would do between 190 (thrashed around town) and 240 (cruising at 85) on 46 litres.

1600cc Astra G's (Mk4) anywhere between 260 and 390 miles on 50 litres.

Usually 300 miles per 50 litres.

There are a number of similar threads on here with this information.

It would be nice if someone built it into a spreadsheet format and screen grabbed it as an image to post directly on here. Remember it needs to be litres, not £pounds.

Oh..., good, thanks for volunteering Nytram.. I'm sure it'll be especially appreciated by new LPG inquisitors.

I think you will find that they are all pretty much the same, relative to engine size. There are the odd model that give poor mileage and some details on this forum are inaccurate due to a poor set-up.

As a good start.

The problem with miles per £10 is that it's dependant on price of fuel and unlike petrol LPG prices can vary by as much as 25% depending on where you fill.

For me it's about £10 for 90 miles in a 2.0 primera.

Nissan Maxima QX 3.0 SE Plus Auto gets between 180 and 240 miles to 55 litres depending on motorway or town driving, how much the car is loaded, how much wellie I give it, what colour underpants I'm wearing, what I had for dinner, which way the wind's blowing etc., etc. I think you'll get the idea

Thanks for the replies

What kind of miles would I get for £20 do you think?

Recently I did a petrol trip of 180miles which cost me £23. I was driving like a grandad and 90% was motorway

In The Old Girl £20 of fuel would give:

46 miles on petrol @ an average price of £1.34/litre for unleaded

or

63 miles on gas @ an average price of 76.6P/litre for LPG.

The Toyota runs on WVO which costs about 55P/litre and @ 30mpg will go for 240 miles!

Guess which car I use to tow my caravan

It all depends on whether you are paying 70p per litre or 85p per litre (both viable prices at the moment). £20 would get you anything from 28.6 litres to a mere 23.5 litres. That's over a gallon more for your money if you are paying the cheaper price. You cannot compare fuel consumption on price because it varies so much between suppliers and areas of the country, you have to use quantity.

80-90 miles out of a tenner roughly, or 250-270 miles out of £30-33 worth or 26-30 mpg on lpg roughly at between 65-75 ppl out of a 1600 cc Zafira with Zavoli multipoint self fit. All figures depend on price and type of journey.

No idea really.
All I know is petrol is 131p around here and before I had a lpg conversion I used to get 30mpg mixed driving but on a long slowish run the car would do over 40mpg easily as do most 1600cc petrol cars nowadays. Lpg gives me nowhere near that figure on a run. Good job most of my driving is around town where lpg economy is good.
