Do supermarkets sell LPG? I've never seem it for sale in the ones I look in.

Also is 74p a litre about right? Can't really find it cheaper where I live(Hampshire/Surrey border)

Yes, some do. There's Sainsburys, Tesco, Asda and Morrisons that all sell LPG at some, but not all, of their filling stations.

looks like it's about average in your area, although the cheapest is Sainsburys at Cobham which is currently 65.9p per litre. Have a look at http://www.filllpg.co.uk and see where it is available and at what price around your way. It does seem to vary quite a bit from one area of the country to another. Average around here is 72.9p at the moment but further North it seems to get cheaper.

With a name like Seanlikesfood I suppose you might need a big car that uses a lot of fuel, hence the LPG conversion?

Loads of places around here in Yorkshire below 70p

A good number of Morrisons stores have fuel stations which sell LPG. Asda and Saiinsbury's have a minimal number of stores who do the same. The price of LPG varies across the country. In Norwich = 71.9p , Glasgow 67.9p. The south tends to be far more expensive. For LPG prices in your area go to www.petrolprices.com

Note that petrolprices only shows fuel card sales where there has been any in the last week or so. So if somewhere doesn't accept fuel cards it won't show up on there at all. The same applies if someone hasn't purchased LPG on a card there. its still a useful tool but limited (out of the 20 stations within 20 miles of me its currently only showing 2 of them for example, and those aren't the cheapest either).

Tesco doesn't do lpg anymore - the closest you may find is the odd esso forecourt that offers it (but they won't give club card points on it if that's what your thinking). Around surrey supermarket wise I'd think the only ones your likely to find is the Sainsburys mentioned above. if your interested on pricing check filllpg out and update any that are missing.
