I believe the injector size for the 1.6 is 2.25mm

Right it's been a long time now since I fitted the second hand 1500cc daewo injectors and did have a little trouble at first but they are still working and the little Astra has saved me a fortune. Thanks to everyone that helped. Rae.

Hi all, since my last post I've done about 30.000 miles and though it was running a bit rough it was great until my timing belt snapped! I've replaced the engine but now it is flashing but won't change over is there a wiring diagram for the LPG please?

Theres this from pjpj's links

Not sure how helpful you will find it though. How quickly is it flashing?

I would say about nearly twice a second, I put power to the rear solenoid while the engine was running and took the pipe off the reducer and the gas was gushing out so that bits ok? Thanks for the quick reply. Rae.

If its that quick you should be able to get an error code from it to give you a pointer where the problem is. That only proves the solenoids themselves appear to work, doesn't prove they are being fed with enough electricity to actually open (if you get someone to help you should be able to hear them clunk when operated, though if its finding an error it may not operate them in the first place)

How do you get the error codes then? I seem to remember something ha to be earthed? BTW, thanks for the help :)

Grey wire at the connector end. Info on it is from pjpj's link. Look at the previous link and remove the file specified at the end there's loads of info there. Including what the codes mean!

Right done the code read and I have 12 that's all and it's repeated think it's the 58x again?

12 should be fine (it means no errors). Are you sure its flashing twice a second not once every couple of seconds?

Have you checked for codes on your petrol ECU? If it's flashing slowly at first then fast after a warm up period then you have a fault, these are usually logged but 58x module faults are sometimes not logged. If it continues a slow flash and never changes over then the temp sensor in the vap. is faulty or it's circuit. If it flashes fast as soon as you switch over or turn on the ignition, it's probably the 58x.

Thanks again for the help I found a ccf002 (just looks like a relay with a connector on) for £40 but whoever took it off cut all the wires!!! Anyway it came with the ECU and the square box. I just fitted the little relay looking box and lo and behold its switching over again, but missing a bit but at least I can try to work it out now.

Have a thourogh check over of the earth connections before you go too much further into it, espically given you have replaced the engine its possible one of them isn't making as good contact as it should be.

Seems like alls good now except for I have to wait about 10 mins for it to warm up before I change it over or it will play up and sometimes it misses a bit but hey I'm not doing to bad considering Lol. Again thanks for all the help. Rae.

Another update, it's still going fine, plays me up a bit but it's a knock up job and it's doing great. Thanks for the help no way I could have got it going otherwise! Rae.
