Hi, I have LDV Convoy 2002 with suspected faulty pump. Am confused as to who to get to do the work. Do they have to be LPG UK registered, what if they're not? Please help!

No they dont have to be uklpg registered in order to do the work. There is a chap on here mobilelpg who has posted about the in tank pump change before, he seems to know his stuff and is mobile, which is a plus. Personally i have never changed one.

and don't let anyone tell you the pump is horrendously expensive. They are being advertised on eBay for around £150 as a bargain, compared with 3 times that for a complete tank, but they can be got from Poland for under £40 http://www.cardo-parts.pl/index.php?p19,erj-173

How do you pay for stuff from Poland if they don't offer Paypal or debit card checkout as I have found to my cost.

It's not straightforward but a number of people on here had bought stuff from Cardo. They use a system similar to Paypal I think.

Try to ring some Polish LPG garage, you can find them by searching on google "polish LPG converter" or "AC STAG UK". The other thing is, UKLPG is not a governmental body, they are a non profit (association?) company (est. 1970 ). They are is like good garage scheme.
