Hi, I have two vehicles that run on lpg and both need problems sorting out, I have one car (2.7 santa fe, omvl system) Runs fine on LPG but have had the pressure sensor replaced at least 3 times and we still have the same problem!. So can anyone suggest an LPG professional near Wellingborough (I regard Coventry as near Wellingborough) who are competent with OMVL.

2nd is a Berlingo van (1.4, 55 reg) with a Nicholson Mclaren factory fit system (AG SGI). This runs fine on LPG but the diagnostic LED has a mind of its own. Runs fine on LPG with it on or off today, but tomorrow will have kangaroo juice as the LED flickers, will change to petrol when it runs out of LPG today, then tomorrow it won't change to petrol when it runs out of LPG. No two days are the same!.
So same question can anyone recommend somone near Wellingborough who is really clued up on the AG SGI system.

Thanks in anticipation.

Andy. :D

Hi whilst I would be able to help you on the OMVL, and I'm only over near Bedford, Im afraid Im not up to speed on the Mclaren. So I would suggest giving Gas4cars at MK a call, Stuart there is well up on them. 01908 641333
Hope this helps :D

+1 for the abouve.
Gastech in Southend have a lpg fleet servicing guy who is mobile and lives in Wellingborough. 07837783686. They fit the pug/citreon/ford transit factory aproved stuff from new and could do your santa too .
There is always the lpg place in Tann rd, Finedon, behind the wooden fence half-way up on the left. They are always helpful for the AEB based stuff like OMVL.

So what problem do you have with the santa fe?
I spoke to the Gastech mobile guy a couple of weeks back about my car so he is still around. He did live in Wellingborough last time I used him. You will pay slightly more but they get it right first time so you save in the long run. I would bite the bullet and get him to look at both your cars especially the pug as they fit the factory system for citroen, pugeot and ford.
If Gastech cannot fix your cars nobody can. It will be something simple on both cars it's just that a lpg system complicates diagnosis because it can give problems running on gas when there is a slight petrol only fault which may not even affect petrol running. Or it can be the gas system which is why you need someone who knows what they are doing.

Just a update.

Just before christmas I had the Santa Fe Lpg diagnosed and serviced at Lpg Cars, Torrington Ave, Coventry.

I would like to give credit where due and say a big thank you, my car has never run so well and has not faulted out once.

Wish I had gone there in the first place :D

Andy.
